  • May have minor scratches and marks, but no cracks, dents or damage to screen
  • No excessive deep scratching or missing keyboard keys
  • No noticeable areas of paint scratched or worn off
  • No engravings or permanent security marks
  • No BIOS password or equivalent enabled

Average

  • May have dents, scratches and marks, but no cracks or damage to screen. 
  • No screen or hinges that have snapped or become damaged or disconnected
  • No BIOS password or equivalent enabled
  • May have a Non UK keyboard layout
  • No missing keyboard keys
  • No faults, including lines on screen, power button not working, etc. 

Poor

  • May have major damage that prevents normal usage
  • May have cracks or faulty / multiple missing keyboard keys
  • May have a cracked screen
  • May have damaged ports 
  • May have a faulty trackpad, or a button is not working.

Additional Requirements

When selling a laptop, we ask what operating system the device originally came with so that we can calculate its age. For example, a Windows 7 device will be much older than a Windows 10 device. Please only specify the original OS, not any upgrades which may have been installed at a later date. Batteries must NOT be showing any service recommended warning messages and must hold a charge of at least 70% of their original capacity or they will be deemed to be "Not holding charge" or consumed.
